Dale Horkey

Why is photographing people important to me? As a photo graphic artist, I have a deep curiosity of the visual world. I capture images of trees, and mountains, and buildings. But most of all, I truly enjoy capturing people. When I'm working with a person before my lens, I get to discover the spark in their eyes that distinguishes them from anyone else on this planet. Every spark, sometimes called the catch light, is unique and individual to every person. As a photo graphic artist, I'm blessed to share that catch light with all the world, and that makes my heart sing!

Photoprose Photography Studio was created by Gerry Schuster in Casper, Wyoming in 1979. The studio specialized in portrait, wedding, commercial, and special event photography. Jerry invited me to join him in 1982 and he became my photography mentor instructing me in posing, lighting, exposure, composition, and the business of photography. In 1986, Jerry was offered the opportunity to manage a photo studio in Denver and I took over Photoprose renaming it Photoprose PhotoGraphics.

Throughout the years, Photoprose PhotoGraphics had grown and added services. We continue to serve the public with fine photography providing personalized portraiture for business, high school seniors, engagements, and families. We also offer coverage for special events, weddings, and commercial photography of products and services. Our new services include graphic layout and design, desktop publishing, PC mechanics and small business network management.

About CardProse

Shortly after I began with a co-worker, she invited me to a Stampin Up! workshop. Being new, and not wanting to appear rude, I decided to go “as a courtesy” . But guess what? I was HOOKED! And I have been stamping ever since. Shortly after I started stamping, I joined a monthly technique club and after about six years I became a Stampin up! Demonstrator. This is a hobby that continues to grow and excite me. A couple years ago, based on an idea from one of my Stampin Up! friends, I began a card ministry at my church. We meet once a month and we make around 80 cards that we send to our home-bound members, college students, and folks that could use a card to cheer them up. People LOVE getting cards in the mail! Let me share what I love with you. Contact me at 303-803-5012, M-F 8A - 5P, and I will tell you all about Stampin Up! Or, visit my website at www.cardprose.com to see more!
